While growing his clinical practice years ago, Dr. Randolph became interested in translating his expertise in neuropsychological assessment, counseling, and enhancement of cognitive and mental health across multiple settings. These interests led him to pursue training through the acclaimed College of Executive Coaching program and develop specific expertise related to executive coaching and consulting. He later attained board certification as a coach.
In addition to his work as a coach and consultant, he is a licensed psychologist and board-certified neuropsychologist who has extensively published and presented research at national and international conferences on the brain’s “executive functions” (such as planning, strategy use, and self-monitoring), structural and functional neuroimaging, and the role of mood on cognitive abilities. In his various roles, Dr. Randolph has consulted with a wide variety of professionals with wellness-oriented and developmental needs in healthcare, finance, non-profit, education, sales, and other industries. He has also held multiple prominent state and national leadership positions.
Dr. Randolph is author of The Brain Health Book: Using the Power of Neuroscience to Improve Your Life. Information about this book can be found here. He is also editor of the recently revised and expanded second edition of Positive Neuropsychology: Evidence-Based Perspectives on Promoting Brain and Cognitive Health. Information about this book can be found here.
Dr. Randolph holds master's and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Washington State University, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California at Irvine. He also completed postdoctoral fellowships in neuropsychology and neuroimaging at Dartmouth Medical School. All formal degrees were awarded with academic distinction.
